Standard pricing for additional services
When booking the truck with Flying Cat LLC, you are accepting our pricing rates standard for all loads.
Whoever hire our company to complete service is responsible for additional charges
Detention time
$40/h
For Loads with scheduled appointment time, detention starts 2 hours from appointment. Each additional hour started will be charged $40/hour
For Loads with FCFS, detention starts 3 hours from check in time. Each additional hour started will be charged $40/hour
IF DRIVER IS NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE DURING LOADING TIME, THERE WILL BE NO DAILY CAP FOR DETENTION (example: FCFS – if driver is to wait 16 hours in his truck to get loaded and he can’t leave, detention will be calculated 13x$40=$520, no daily cap to layover will be accepted)
Layover time
Layover – moving delivery for day or more
$250/day – Layover daily rate
$375/day – Layover daily rate for weekend
$500/day – Layover on Holidays
Layovers for TEAM drivers are DOUBLE
What should we tell our drivers when they can’t spend time with their family on Christmas, Easter, Birthdays and it is not in our hands.
TONU – TRUCK ORDERED BUT NOT USED
$150 – Standard rate
$150 + detention -> In cases where our truck has to wait over 2hrs to find out the load has been canceled.
$300 – TONU on Fridays after 1 PM – This is major problem in our industry and it cost us a lot of revenue
TONU will be requested if broker cancel load 30 minutes after booking truck at the day of Pickup. If booked day in advance and canceled day prior, TONU will not be charged.
Sometimes our truck has to deadhead over 100 miles to the shipper to find out there is no load.
Driver Load Handling
$75/per pallet – Driver hand load restocking
$25/per pallet – Driver pallet unloading
Additional stops
Additional stops take more time: checking in, backing and loading, thus it will require more work time
Prices vary and had to be negotiated in advance. If any changes in transit, we are charging $100 per additional stop.
